It's a good start but, its still way to early. I looked at last years RR and this score would have just landed me 6th. So anything can happen. Don't think I'm goning to just take it easy from here. There is a lot of great anglers in this club that love a good competition.
I hear ya there. Doesn't make sense to me either. I've caught 4 fish with over 20 spots in the place that I fished saturday, but they weren't there. I don't think i've got it won yet. I have one more redfish tournament at the end of the month and some prefishing to do, so hopefully I can find one of those 20+ spotters.
dang thats crazy... well my friend & rival, i think you've locked in 1st place for this tournament at least! but time will tell. I seem to be having a similar problem, i catch 7-20 reds throughout the week whenever i can find some free time to hit the water, but the reds i have been catching are single & double spotters. I don't get it... I wish i had a boat so i could hit more spots though (no pun intended)
You had to be in by 2:00, so we didn't even bother. Would have put us in 5th or 6th place. It was our annual spot tournament up here. 300 something boats. 27 spot fish won. It's hard to believe out of 25+ fish that we couldn't get one with multiple spots, until time ran out that is!
