Valentine's TroutFest - Jan 28, 2012 - Back by popular demand, February features the Valentine's TroutFest event for kayak anglers. Anglers are scored on 4 Seatrout and the inch-slot rule is in effect. The event is a cash calcutta format, open-bait, and paddle vessels only.
Happy New Year Trout - Dec 28, 2011 - January features the Happy New Year Trout event for kayak anglers. Anglers are scored on 4 Seatrout and the inch-slot rule is in effect. The event is a cash calcutta format, open-bait, and paddle vessels only.
Holiday Challenge - Nov 30, 2011 - December features the Holiday Challenge event for kayak anglers. Anglers are scored on 2 Redfish, 2 Seatrout, and 2 Snook. The event is a cash calcutta format, artificial only, paddle vessels only, reds are scored to their entire length, and the inch-slot rule is in effect.

i'm a little leery to do another one cuz one of my most reliable and one of my best overall spots for kayak fishing.. for ANY fishing just got shut down. No close launch site for miles :/ it's rather depressing actually. But i probably won't let that hold me down!
